Any good lance will do. Right now, raw power and a normal or good affinity is what I'm after. I mean, I don't mind if the weapon has no affinity, positive is good, but negative affinity is a big no-no. xD
Name me the best lance in MHF2 and I'll see what it upgrades to.

Iron Lance -> Iron Lance+ -> Steel Lance -> Paladin Lance -> Rampart -> Growling Wyvern -> Knight Lance -> Knight Spear -> Babel Spear

Attack: 529
Deffence boost: 20
Slots: 2

Just a side note here on 2G weapons with negative affinity, many possess high attack power and/or comes with good sharpness.

One way to defeat the negative affinity is by getting reckless abandon skill, another way is by getting the othr skill which gives you 100% crit on the 1st hit for drawn weapons.

Hm... Which armor gives Reckless abandon+2 or +3?

Any good armor would do. Then I'll focus on Black Diablos runs.Raging Tempest is good.

I have my Teo armour for 2G with +2, but i till mostly gemming for the skill till you get there. SoC has the armour lists if you're looking for them. I don't remember them! lol

any good armor to fight khezu with one with thunder resistence?

The khezu armor sets and gypceros armor sets sport relative thunder resistance.If you asked me, I'll think you'll just be needing a good longsword with green or better sharpness and more quest experience with the Khezu.

Khezu is more or less teaching hunters to attack and dodge enemy attacks. Like I said before, just learn his moves, you'll take him down.
Or if you want to save the trouble, once it's weak and it goes to sleep, set a shock trap and throw two tranq bombs at it. Or you can continue to fight it till it dies.

i know how to dodge and roll i know all its attacks i know its patterns i know alot about how fights i know the long swords move but i need some items that can help me like armorskin or demondrug just something to give me an edge
