New Info. A good read

Right well you may have come across some info about MH3 but here is a clup of it, so to put it

* A new village that is a sea port.
* The game retains the concept of a "city," which acts as a lobby for chatting and meeting with other players.
* When playing solo, this city becomes a village that slowly expands with new facilities and access routes for the island.
* New environments, including an unexplored tropical island filled with caves, forests, and even underwater sections where you'll hunt sharks and enormous sea serpents.
* In addition to the water environments, you'll be able to explore dark areas, like caves. To light up your surroundings, you make use of torches. Without torch light, these areas would be too dark for hunting.
* Battles will now take place on land or underwater.
* There is an air gauge while swimming.
* Most of your land-based abilities available to you while underwater.
* New moves for all weapons new or old.
* New variation of weapon: Slasher Axe and Medium Bowgun
* Removal of various weapon types: Bow, Hunting Horn, and Dual Blades.
* New branching for all weapons/armors.
* New movements for Hunters.
* New movements for old monsters.
* 3 Control Variations: PS2-styled, PSP-styled & Wii Remote/Nunchuck style.
* New statuses for monsters.
* New Wyverns, Bird Wyverns, Leviathans and Neopterons
* Different items get different reactions from monsters.
* Hunt fish underwater which can later be used as ingredients.
* Able to cook more than 1 meat at the same time.
* Offline two-player mode with split-screen.
* Old monsters get remodeled. (Revamped Rathian seen in MH3 Demo vids and V-Jump scans.)

i dont know much about the new weapons really but medium bowgun is explanatory. nd i think the slasher axe is the 1 beating up those Jagii (purple velociprey things)

Slash Axe

The one and only new weapon for MH3, one of the main characteristics of Slash Axe is it can undergoes form change when in use. The retractable weapon becomes a long and large size axe once pulled out. One of the main reasons for this design is because of its extremely cool look when it action, according Tsujimoto. It features some similar moves with Great Sword but with wider attacking range. However, unlike Great Sword, you can’t use it as shield but it allows for faster movement. Fujioka teases a special move that will looks cool but at the same time risky for the weapon.

ah and some interesin info on the bowgun range
Bowgun is a long range weapon that allows you to use various bullets. Besides “Heavy” and “Light”, there is a new “Middle” Bowgun for MH3. Players also get to customize their Bowgun by mixing and matching the three different components: barrel, frame and stock. These combinations will determine the weight of the Bowgun and the type of bullets you can use.

As soon as I get MH3, I'm gonna get a slasher axe. Then lotsa LS. Then I'll see what I wanna make. xDD

I wanna use the slasher axe. Looks like GS, LS, GL, and a unique moveset of it's own. Can't wait! I'm gettin' a Wii soon, one more step towards gettin' MH tri! xDD

I saw a video on the slasher axe and it has an attack where it slowly moves upward hitting the monster multiple times but if very slow so that is a reason they said this.

then I hope they make it ILLEGAL for one below 18 to play... just to spite you! lol

Anyways just for all to know they have a payment system for those whom wishes to go online, I have confirm the cost of it being 2000 wii points, of which 3000 Wii point cost 60 bucks here in singapore.

800 points gets you 1 month's worth of online time, and 2000 gets you 3 months.

Anyways, me and me friend is spectaculating that most online content might still be available OFFLINE with cooperation play, thing i, me friend' not so smartz... he bought the game only to discover he's got a NA set. lol he had to get it modded. lol

So......................... Pay-to-Play or Free for all? D:
