Reopening Topic G-Rank Rathalos and Red Khezu

i have tried and tried again and i just cant kill them you can see my armor below and also my weapons. For Red Khezu i am looking for a SnS that has Water Attribute. For Rathalos i am looking for any weapons that work, but not a GS or Hunting Horn

For SnS i should go for odyssey

from velicidrome bite+->odyssey

mat needed is:
2 carbalite ore
5 Dragonite ore
10 machalite ore

I now know that I am a rich ish player. I bought the basic ice LS, and was able to upgrade it to fill. Oh yeah

Dragon work best on Rathalos, but if you dont have a dragon weapon use ice. I can only assist you ferther if you tell me which weapon class you like fighting rathalos with most.

Pyro was the LS Blango Destroyer because if it is i am 1 upgrade away from getting it to its strongest

yea i need to kill blangonga to get the final parts then ill be able to kill Rathalos, also i noticed that ppl say it is a good weapon for Rajang

Longsword:
Ice: you're already getting there.
Dragon: Fire Dragonsword -> Red Dragonsword -> Smolder Dragonsowrd

Dual Swords: You need an Sm Ancient Stone for the best ice and dragon dual swords, but there is more then one decent dragon weapon.
Ice: Worn Blades -> Weathered Blades -> Hi Twin Daggers -> Silhouette Sabers
Dragon:
Worn Blades -> Weathered Blades -> Eternal Schism
Flaming Pair -> Crimson Lotus Blades
Black Blade(Sns) -> Double Dragon -> Double Dragon Ultimus -> Ultimus Heaven and Earth (Hardest one to get, need red fatalis items)

I have red dragonsword. And I need one more teostra horn to upgrade it, I think.
Either that or I have fire dragonsword.
I have a dragon LS from Lao parts. And I am beatin up another teo for his horn

Hm... Water attribute? Sorry,but that isn't my profession. But as for ice, Blango Destructor is your best bet. I use hammers often though so I think Great Cone or Conehead Hammer+ would help you out. Great Cone is your best choice.

I am working on getting Kirin armor right now all i need is 2 kirin hides for the set to be complete

thats good armor. I would talk to Ranos about that.
He is a master of kirin killing. Has loads of kirin stuff.

I just got the armor and now it is basicly Tigerx with out Quick eating and now has huge Thunder Res.

Ok so now i can beat Red Khezu with Dijin or Odessey+. As for Rathalos i have a little way to go with getting the Ice Sword done.

O YEA!!!!!!!!!! i beat Red Khezu with Odessey+ only one life left and less than 2 mins to go. The funny thing was, that when he entered the area and jumped down he stood there so i attacked, he went into rage, kept hitting him, then he continued to stand there till he was DEAD!!
