egg, jewel tickets?

where do i get em? my training instructor only provides coins and weapon tickets. i've done all my missions other than slay kirin

I only get egg tikets when I drop off eggs in the red box randomly, but it could work differently on MH2 then MHF2

Actually, it is the same as in MHF(2), only that it is a reward from completing the sub quest requirements. You can gues what you need to do for those sub requirements.

So for example my main quest is to slay some monster and it has a deliver 1 egg sub quest so i'll have to deliver the egg than slay the monster and i'll get the egg ticket at the reward page?

i think i've deliver an egg before in the deserts but no tickets.

That is technically correct, only the catch is that you can deliver an egg bu the chance for a ticket i still random.
