Water is your best bet here as it is his best weakness
Now the best water weapon line I know is the dual sword version. Now are you good with duals. You dont have to worry about plugs, cos he roars very little.
Here is the line you need to take- Hunters Dagger+ (SNS)------> Twin Dagger (DS)-------> Twin Dagger+ (DS)------->Dual Tomahawk (DS)-------> Order Rapier (DS, this is where the water starts)------> Holy Saber (DS)-------> Guild Knight Sabers (DS)

Right then, to get to order rapier you will need (this includes what you need to make the dagger).
21 machalite ore, 11 iron ore, 6 earth crystals, 9 disk stones, 2 antisceptic stones, 4 lightcrystals, 5 black pearls, 10 small goldenfish. Oh and you'll need 6000z in total
