Hi just registered because im plaing onnusing x-link kai to go online in MHFU.I stoped playing it cause MH3 was released but i was dying to use a bow again(yea my fav for ever) so here i am,started my game anew currently at 4 star regular quest and just owned the blangonga :3

ps: i never went pass the Teostra wich i killed but i know a few stuff about white fatalis,akantor and other bad ass monster

yea after i registered i kinda saw the years and dates everyone else registered and began to wounder

anyway for now i finished my full daora armor,dont really like it but i saw akantor gunner armor and like it even though its gonna be a while -.- i just beat the tigrex urgent (still hate that thing)

Akantor armor was badass in MHF2.

It got nerfed in MHFU, but it's still worth getting. It'll help in high rank.

And if ya got da skillz, it'll definitely help in G-Rank.

Akantor armour is a good start, altho I never used it. It didn't have any good skills.
For a gunner, there are about 5-8 armour sets that will help you.
These are G-Rank sets but I think the lower ranks will have some of the same skills. I'm going to list the skills that make them useful.

Butterfly/Obituary armour = Good for Fatalis, Lao-Shan Lung(I use chakra for this)
Evade +2, Reloading Speed +2, Combine Success +15%

Narga armour = Good for Tigrex, Nargacuga, Diablos, Monoblos
Evade +2, Trap Master, Evade Distance Up

Tigrex armour = Good for Gravios, Khezu
High Grade Earplug

Golden Moon armour = Capture set.
Tranquilizing Celeb, Luck Booster, Tranquilizing Guru, Trap Master.

Bone S armour = Chameleos
Fatigue Cancellation, Quick Eating, Steal No Effect.

For other things I just use my Kirin armour.

Since you use bows, I will list some bows I recomend you to get.
