| im new to the forums and pretty much the game, well i baught the ps2 version and freedom but never played them to much, but anyway i was wondering what do you t hink a good weapon class is? | |

| it's up to your fighting style... I love great sword, but some are better with hammer.
the best is to try each... and find your favorite.
it could be good for your mind to have a weapon with a shape that you like | |

| one of the easiest styles for a beginner to learn is the sword and shield, but using what you think is the coolest is also a good choice. because you will probably want to try harder to master a style you like. hope my advice helps! | |

| I mainly use hammers. On mh2, and mhp2, you can take down raths in 2 minutes flat... gotta love knockout.
Sns is pretty good. If you want a easy weapon to use, with good attack power. Try gunlance, costly yes, but worth it.
Also try and get good with each type of weapon, some work better, and are more effective then others. All depends on the hunt. | |

| Actually the weapons are pretty balanced IMO. with MH dos, new weapons like bow and katana opens a whole line of options for play style. As koji had mentioned before. Sword and shields are pretty easy to use. it's good to use SnS as there's more elements available with them. | |

| Moreover GS is really good, but it's reserved to real GS master during online quest cause it bounce your mate away if not well used! | |

| For my the best choice is the Katanas or tachi blades, I mastered those and I can do greatest combos. but some times use a Sword and a shield can help you a lot | |

| I'm a Great Sword user from HR1-6 in MHF2 and HR 6-9 in MHF2G... But I also use bow and dual swords for fatalis and lao shan. | |
