4.8 is the weapon modifier for Great Sword,If i have 攻撃力UP【大】スキル 10, should i have 48 of extra raw damage added to each attack??

can show me example of your own calculation of how much extra damage will add to my attack??

I am still trying to find an effetive way to hunt Diablos and Gravious with spending more than 40 minutes.

I am still trying to find an effetive way to hunt Diablos and Gravious with spending more than 40 minutes.

I do not really have any damage calculations I would follow, as such I'm not really able to help you undersand what potatoes has in heir charts. from reading the weapons damage relations page they had I understand that the figure given is for you to use to calculate for a "ratio" which I have no idea how it was applied.

As with ways to approach both monsters, I would think U tube a good source for strategies visually presented.

In the mean time, you can share your actual woes while combatting either monsters with us. perhaps we can find a solution for you by understanding your commonly faced problems with the 2 mean monsters.

Most videos found on You tube are related to MH2freedom which has weapons with stonger and better sharpness.Startegies will not be possible to replicate.

I think i have found solution to Gravious.I believe making fire resistant amour and drinking mega nutrient would make it's fire beam survivable.

And here I ask you this, do you want to try and make earplugs armour?

At any rate, I have noted that the gravios do not really scream as much as the diablos does, even if you are caught by the scream you are not always in it's line of sight for it's beam attack.

Skeletor ain't the greatest of hunters, yet he seemed to cope just fine with his upper PBA and decent def armour. I read his comments that it took him roughly 36 minutes. That being fair timing from just beating on it's wings.

In case you wonder what I feel was notesworthy in his vid, his moving around the grav to lure it to use it's beam is a good way to create openings for yourself to attack. I did the same with a hammer and net around the same timing back then.

An high ear-plug amour will fix Gravious and graviosus problem for me.but i have been able to carve a rathian spike.


Thats a black gravious!!!I killed it once with the exact same strategy but it doesn't work on the grey Gravious becuase it charges more and it beams less.

it get's simpler when it charges, just try to position yourself at roughly 35 degress to it's left then bid your time, if it chose to charge, let the gravios through then strike between it's legs if you can reach it as it stops, then get out of it's immediate radius and repeat. With any other attacks it uses, take your time to attack.
Notice that it would rear up before screaming, it's a good way to avoid getting caught in a jam by blindly charging in, but instead let it make it's move 1st before going in for the openings presented.
Since we're dealing with Dos, the gravios ain't all that fast. Thus it's usually easy to expiolt the time between each of it's attacks.

A few thing to note though, it's head is likely the hardest part of it's body, thus you would never want to attack it's head and risk boucing off. You will want to attack it's wings more if it seemed hard to aim for the belly, which is the prime weak spot. GS weapons would have a little trouble because of this but if you're not picky beating it's wings in would work.

1) The big bad fishy can be fished outta the water by getting frogs you find easily from the rock just to the right of the little platform which you exit to the cave in the center from the Beach. If you have trouble finding it, it's between the 2 exits. This is the Bait.

2) The Blue Meat Seemed a missing link in DOS, but I uderstand that you can make it by combining the blue ore from the snowy mountains and raw meat to make a cool meat, Which should give you stamina and a shor period of hea resistance and prevent HP from dropping in hot area like teh volcano or desert.


3)Is This the item you're refering to? it's a flag you can mount on the top of the snow mountains. Though there seemed no obvious Objective to do so. If it's not. think you can take a picture of it or something?

4) what was your question about Lao shan? or you don't know what to do?

As with the water dragon, Just kill it again, chances are you just didn't get a drop to open up the option to get that armour part you're missing. However, apart from mostly Aesthetic value, i find the armour pretty useless, My opinion anyways.

I'm very very detached from Monster hunter right now as it's not really a game I played much the last few months, excuse me if you will if I don't seem to have the answer you seek, If you will, Give Minegarde a visit, chances are tehre's players still active with this game and have the right answers for you there.

i think so too, the armor not too powerfull.. but cool armor for female char^^
