I wanna have a competition like that in Singapore, but it's not popular here at all. D:< Well, at least in MH3 we can go online. ^_^
I'm guessing that they're given set equipment before the start of the competition?
Perhaps you started a little late, they used to hold MH gatherings in toa payoh last year. as I work long hour previously I wasn't able to really go.
I dunno, the games are snapped up pretty fast the time MHp2G was released but I guess you can say the MH community in singapore is small compared to other countries.
It doesn't appear to have restrictions on weapon/armour items used, If you're wondering why they didn't choose the "uber" weapons, my take is that the elemental affinity differences were taken in account so the winning team chose the garuga hammer for it's good sharpness and high raw potential with a decent critical percentage.
@black gravios, yea, whaddaya expect? lol it's a time attack competition!
@pyro, well, I must say, apart from being accustomed to the fight, both teams are relatively well prepared. IMO the winning team had better coordination overall, that, with knowing the fight sequence, monster weakness gave the winning team bragging rights! sooo.. you can only be ill prepared in most cases. I would take your word for it if you insist that you suck though! lol!

Well they could of atleast shown some decency by not flashspamming so much.
I was like. "Hell yea!" When one of the guys got lava beam'd.
I also lol'd when the other got hit by the explosive gas. xD
