That darn urgent Khezu!

I know there has been other topics about this but im really not a Glance or bowgun user so can anyone help me out?

Current armor:Battle set
Current weapon:Iron Katana Grace

Another tactic you could use is a SnS. It can block his screams and do quick damage. I would recomend Red Sword or Dijin. OR you could get a Fire DS(dual sword) and demonize his legs, make him fall over, and demonize his head. That is my preference but it is up to you.

Also you could use your Katana and attack his legs and as he is about to use his thunder sheild do a swing and jump back. This can be done by clicking /\ and O at the same time.

Another thing try to get like Kut Ku armor or something and when you start stay in area 1 for it to come to you. It will be there in about 2-3 mins. If it doesn't come just quit and try again.

alot of those weapons are not avaliable till after this quest :S
fill you spirit gauge and attack his legs and roll away when he is going to attack..
make sure to paintball it you can't afford to waste any time looking for it..

i think you should take up the gunning guide.. it destroys it =/
i just bought a injector cannon and battle gunner set to see how it did and before i used up my 60 flame S shots he died =/
all i did was sit on ledges and fire at it.. i made a video of it

Ill try both your ways but is there a good fire katana thats early in the game?

It's probably easier to just go gunning initiatly, thought it is not difficult to win with any other weapons. Most mats for fire based weapons are not available till you have some progression so it might be a hassle to prepare specifically fire weapons in the initial phase of your game.

ill try gunning but its gunna take some times cus i have to buy all new gunners armor and what gun should i use?

To Dilexia- I remember the first time I used longswords to kill Khezu. Took me forever. xD Just get a buddy to help you in the gathering hall 2* Rathalos Quest. Kill him and make Wyvern Blade 'Fall'. Thats what I used to kill Khezu.

Bone Katana 'Wolf'--->Bone Katana 'Shark'--->Wyvern Blade 'Fall'

Good luck! You might wanna bring a few bombs to help ya. Speeds up the killing process. Bloody Khezu had me stuck for 2 weeks! xD

Oh, and guns are easy for Khezu if you ledge him, but you might wanna consider making Wyvern Blade 'Fall' to help you in the future.

oke iv made the wyvern blade fall and got kut ku armor so ill try again!!!

.....epic fail.... lol the F***in giaprey woke the khezu up when i was abot to capture it and he did that electric tackle thing and killed me

Well, I would teach you the way of the longsword, but I'm too lazee.

Here's a better idea. Your best bet right now are bowguns. I killed my following Khezu's after the first Khezu I killed using bowguns. Ledging works like a charm.

you could throw a flash bomb at the giaprey.. before setting the trap to capture it.

Like JG said, flashbombs work well, but I don't really use them, fells like cheatin' to me. :/

A good bowgun to use might be one of the Kut-Ku cannons, but i dont know if you can make them at your stage in the game. Another gun you could get is go and kill Rathain. Then there should be like a gun called Valrike(IDK on spelling) i think that can use fire and you can get it lol

If you felt like you needed a beather, maybe you can make some stinkbombs to get eth Khezu's attention off you

Meh. I kill Khezu with full health now. You get used to kicking his ass(literally, take Teostra Del Sol and start kicking him) He's quite common as an additional monster you have to kill in higher rank quests. E.g You have to kill Plessy, but Khezu's there too.

Yea just wait until you get to HR 5-6(MHF2 not MHp2-2g)
