Ancient Book (red Book) ~MH2dos~

Hi Everyone.. I Just Joint this forum..

need help.. i have a problem with the ancient book (red book).. i get the first part from the mine guy, second part from the cat .. sigh i forgot it name....... now a girl in red chinese outfit (drink mini game girl) ask to get the whole book, but i dont know how to combine it .. and cobine it with what

help please.. thx in advance

the most problem is i can't read kanji .. that make me hard to know where to search the other part.. from the story looks like the girl want to know where kushal daora came from..... help please... i'v been looking everywhere.. still not get the one part

I didn't think I would miss this post, anyway here's my reponse in another thread

I believe this is the part in MH2(dos) on the PS2 where you want to get 3 parts of the "book of tower" you buy the middle part, exchange the 1st part with the elder in field with a daora scale. 3rd part you get from the guy in the mine. When you get all 3 parts and combine all 3, you'll get missions in the tower.

well, it roughly "scroll of the ancient tower" being "furui" exactly translating as old.

just guessing.. i'm still learning Japanese.. kanji really hard to understand......... thx anyway

look like you already complete all monster in MH dos2 .. can i ask some more question? .. when i can get the green ore? and where

well, I only managed to get the offline content on MHDOS so it's really far from complete.

I believe the green ore you refer to is the dragonite ore we oftenly use in english versions of MH.

basically, you'll need access to missions in either the Tower or forest and hills to get a shot at mining them. Opening the stages also allow you to get quests for ancient dragons such as the Chameleon in the forest and hills, Rathalos. There's a Nana tower quest as well and kirin ones in the tower.

The link above have clickable links to each spot you can mine the ore. graphics will load when the site is working properly.
just to add, you can get the ore either from carving the chameloen ancient dragon "Oonazuchi" or as rewards from either of it's slaying mission given for breaking it's horn, cutting it's tail.

The flame emperor, Teo is also available for offline. I am unable to put a finger on the exact requirements to unlocking it except that I remember the lengendary blacksmith gives you the quest as and when he comes to the village.

To get quests in the forest and hills stage, you need to have access to the old village in MH1, All I remember of the requirements is taht the shipyard dude(looks like he has whiskers of a cat fish) give you the requirements to make a mast and something else.

Lol It appears I remember very little of the game..

Teo.. wow.. the red nana with horn is't it ... by the way, i have kill nana 4 times.. but still not see nana armor from the blacksmith, are nana armor only available on online?

oh... the dude from MH1.. i saw him.. but still no quest from him.. hmm,, keep progressing i guess

try clearing as many request as you can, it is also important to "Upgrade" you town, do so by clearing the urgents.

yes , now i do so.. try to complete many quest from villager...

the only thing trouble me, is DIABLOS, especially the black one.. soo hard to kill.. cost time, potion..... the only way i find is using canon, but cost more money,, make poor fast
.... better fight kirin, kusyal or any 4 star monster than Diablos.. frustrating

It really depends on how farmiliar you are in fighting the diablos, or any other monster where applicableWhile I remember beating it with my trusty Poison battle axe, I believe you can make short work of it with ice based weapons. make more oppurtunities with sonic and flash bombs and ue the walls or pillars to get it stuck to maximise your advantage combatting the diablos.

Also, if you can unlock the Yian garuga by connecting your psp version of MHP(assuming you own a psp and the game to start with) do so and make the Yian garuga head piece and cash in on high grade ear plugs when fighting the diablos. since the black Diablos have a tenacity to scream when blinded or in rage, it's probably safer for you to have HGE when fighting it.

now i'm using diablos complete armor , and i have upgrade the chest part to black diablos mode.. and,using ShogunGizami GiantBlade but still the hardest monster i have face.... i wonder why this 3star monster is so tough,, to me Diablos is Tougher than nana or Kusyal

I actually find Khushal a little tougher, but it really depends on how you approach the fight.. I'm slowly losing it, but you can be I love to help whenever possible.

yeah, you right.. it depends how many face the monster.... i already have a Kusyal daora Hunter title by killing more than 20Kusyal... and maybe because of it too, i can slay nana easy,, cause nana and kusyal attack pattern almost same
