??? material

I couldnt understand a word at mmpotato so i need help on the possible SnS from the '?' material and how to refine them. Is there certain methods because the only thing im getting is the lousy hunter knife+

IT is the equivelance to he rusted stones in MHF, so like the stones in MHF, you have a chance to craft a set of rusted weapons from them, I have not really tried reloading to increase my chances from crafting the rusted weapons though.

When you don't get the rusted weapons, a few other weapons may be crafted from those stones.

The weapon you'll want to make would be the rusted sns

After an upgrade you'll have a choice for either the dragon element final form or the water final form. Good dragon element on the 1st final form except for it's low damage and weak sharpness. The water final form has better base damage and sharpness, only probelm would be tha it require online parts to make. so meh.

Wel, it is probably the best dragon element Sns you can ever get offline, it's just not as flashly as the ones you can make with online parts.

Basically it meant for you to 1st get 7 of the rust stones then proceed to produce all and reload, repeat that 3 times then either make 1 more or do a single quest before attempting one last time.
It is supposed to ensure a 100% chance in making the rust stone weapon without wasting a single stone.


If you get the stone, now its time to produce. but you don't want to waste your stones makin Failure
Here is how to make your weapons from stones


this is the order of what you get by producing the stone
×××××△××××××××××××△××△○××××××○○××△××………

this order moves by clearing quest or producing stone. and if you reset your ps2, this order will be too

so if you produce 6stones after putting on your ps2, you will get 5×s in row and 1△ in the sixth production
also if you clear the quest 4times and produce 2stones, you will get 1×and 1△

then, how do i get the ○on the 23rd?
i dont have 22stones with me and i dont want to do 22quests
for this, you can use get back to game menu from start menu


lets say if you have 7 stones with you

STEP1:turn on your ps2

STEP2:produce all 7 stones.stones produced:7

STEP3:go back to title without saving

STEP4:load,and produce 7 stones again.stones produced:14

STEP5:go back to title without saving

STEP6:load,and produce 7 stones again.stones produced:21

STEP7:go back to title without saving

STEP8:load,then clear one quest or produce one stone that you dont need. stones produced:22

STEP9:produce the stone you want.
by doing this,you will get the weapons you wanted from stones

Erm... if you have been getting the man to mine in the cave back in Jumbo, you should have a Laoshan head(fossil) with a sword in it jaws. you'll be able to extract this sword when you have beaten laoshan lung(I think, I know it's a major battle before I can gte the sword for sure)
