how do u beat his first urgent quest u fight him in. i have gone and time ended and the fortresss was still up with 50%

but with LS just attack a single leg. preferably front.
It will swell up, go red etc.
After a while he will fall over.
I was really surprised that I beat him first time (unlike lao which took me ages).

In gunning, you can speed up the process by incorporating felyne skills like heroics or potential skill if you can make armours for it. Just tag some bombs on yourself before the fight and reduce your HP till it's 5 points or so before the fight and don't heal, you'll see a fantastic boost in your attack and defence! just stay away from gao ren's stamping feet and you'll beat him for sure.

yeah, his feet are the only prob, they didnt kill me, just annoyed me.

I tried with a gun and couldn't do it, so I use dual swords insted. I use Improved Power Saws and full Silver Los armour, armour has the EMP skill so my swords don't bounce off him. First I attack one leg untill it is in stage 2 of red(almost fully red) then I move onto another leg. When all four are done I just keep attacking him untill he does the big fall, when he does the big fall his legs will go back to normal and he will stay on the ground for over 1 min.

Hmm, when I beat the crap outta it's leg they stayed red..

i made all legs red, following oz's advice, potenial and heroics
i mainly used pellet 3, and clust
and the DRAGONATOR

I love the dragonator. I tried hitting my friend with it against lao. But it didnt work

i beat him with anvil hammer today and the dragonator killled him at the end with like 3 seconds to spare

I like the way the combo looks and I get a good defence with autotracker.

its weak against fire n dragon best thing is the carona "sns from red saber" kills every time just make all legs red he will fall then just spike him and repeat

Well, I only use dragon on the Gao shan ren when aside of gunning, duals and LS/GS is the way to go.. with sns... I had to use bombs to make up for the damage in most cases.

I have only fought him once, cant be bothered to go back. I just used devil slicer. He ran away, but if I had used bombs etc and the upgraded slicer I might be able to kill him
