In case anyone is wondering where I've been these pass few months, I'm not dead!

I've been out of town, and busy with life, work and a slice of WoW. where I have been playing MHP2G, I am pretty green with the newer monster and rarely played it alone(only within a closed circle of friends)
As most can see I rarely post these days, I trust JG to run the forums in my absence an know that where I hardly post I do check out this forums daily even where I seemed to have not logged on(I can view the threads as a guest)

Allow me to meditate while I silently countdown to the release of Tri.

I try to post. But i've been revising and playing ogame (guilty pleasures).
Still i've been playing more MHF2 because my PS3 died
but getting it replaced on tuesday yaaay

how can something so expensive die yet ps2's lasted for years without a problem

Dunno. I think I kinda killed it's laser disc thingy.
Tis reading DVD's fine, but my games won't play.
So I ring Sony and within 5 mins they say my warranty is fine, so i'll get a new one on tuesday.

My vegas 2 save couldn't be transferred so I lost it. Gotta re-do that (my fav game at the mo).
Plus if I get good results (exam week) my parents will get me MGS4.

ya me unfortunatly i dont want a ps3 but i may have to if the new tekken doesnt come out for psp and to top it FF7 remake is going onto the ps3 so theres 2 titles ive played (been playing tekken since arcade days but not that old o_0\\\)

Yeah I love PS3 plus the great games. It's really good. I don't have tekken but I played the demo. Twas good fun

As this forums site is my default webpage(I had a few auto load on IE startup) I actually do come on virtually everyday. But with my inactivity on MH. I see less the need to answer queries.. not that much had turned out since the game have been launched oh so long ago.

I have my Wii... zero MH playtime for the monthes pass.. supposing Tri is released I will find myself a happy hunter once again!

Oh and Thank JG. I do not find it thrilling to get older but I'm full of appreciation to your greetings. lol

My post on yuffie's site pretty much sums it up

Mostly wow(I like the game concept and questing) and a little MHP2G with friends I got to know over Xlink Kai, we hooked up bout 3 weeks ago for a little MHP2G session. it was great to meet the guys when you mostly only communicate via txt on the kia guild halls.
while I'm not really getting anywhere with my MHing.. my friend cleared one of the marathons from the cat elder. I did not see him in action on this particular quest, the quad lineup is intimidatingto me just on mention.
Didnt know the name of that particular quest but it has a Rathalos following a Tigrex, naruga thena final showdown with the thunder lord rajang.
I was like WTF?! when I learned tat it has not only four in it's line up, but also including the notorious Rajang and naruga. The fact that my friend was gunning also surprised me.. he was the melee kinda dude.
It kinda got me thinking to play MH again after a long while..but I'm still holding out for Tri.. I idn't wanna burn out on MH before the title is released.

well, I guess I was burn out on MH.. I played very little MHP2G despite the improvements in the game and monster AI

i did that quest with duel gold tomahawk things, and akantor set, its one of the only hr6 armours that can be really strong when improved.

i have pretty much nothing left on these games,
i just help people on kai mainly...

back in from weeks of silence(my silence), I had a couple MHP2G session with the same close circle of friends. While I have not been playing much still I had hit HR9 with help and converted from using bows to gunning.

On gunning, I found out a few interesting points:

Several rare 10 guns not only sport insane damage(Light bow guns with 444 atp) but also allows multiple elemental bullents on rapid shot! I coupled one such guns with my friend's help in procuring the parts and used a helper se which enhances rapid shots by increasing the total shots fired! 5 shot rapid fire makes short work of Khezu etc even on G rank fights, the damage is also the contributing factor.

As before auto reload automatically cancels out recoil improvements, but I got over it by making reload +2(thus faster reload) at a relative cost on slots, makes reloading less a hassle and not sacrificing your recoil.

I still don't play much and had continued 2G off of my older MHPs file, it works well anyway for me. Oh and I have the patch and is running the game from ISO despite owning the game UMD. I like collecting the game in support of a well made title.

Both my friend an myself had problems getting on kai, while I did, it was only a brief week of success after which it ceased to work again..
I would a anyone whom posted their Xlink kai names.. just can't get on.

I'm planning to get linked up to this whole Kai thing.
Plus I cant wait for tri, should be fun starting as a complete noob again. (not that I have ever left noobishness)
