dont worry, it isn't that hard when using aka bow, adrenaline+2 and heroics.

u should kill the first rajang with ease. the second however is much bigger and will hit u more easy!!

well, its called "Akantor bow" it has 300 attack 200 dragon and 50% affinity.

wenn you beat akantor, you should unlock it. it cost about 6 scales and a spike orso.

and what armor should I use?

not tiger armour something a bit more strong against thunder

I have Silver Rath, Rathalos U,
Tigrex S which I used to kill him in the snow and volcano, fast eating is important to recover quicklty

Kaiser
Kushala
Death Stench S
Diablos S and U

Use Kaisr, helps you deal good damage and it's got decent defence. Heck I used Rembra the whole time(till I got my Healer U) and I survived. I even use duals now and then.

Oz, i might switch to using Bow when I farm the Akantor this weekend.

I want his armor and bow only.

ive made nearly 500k just from akantor and his parts its definetly a monster worth farming

I dunno Astino, I would reccommend you deal with Akantor with your best(most often used) weapons, sole for the fact that you would want to get farmiliar with dealing with it. the only main reason I liked a bow so much is because I like to back off and be able to move around more freely in a fight.

I would think the Akantor bow one of the best Bows in MHF2 because it has 1 slot, heavy damage(300raw 200drg) A good and powerful charge attack set (charge 1 spread 3~4 charge 2 pierce 3, charge 3 Rapid 4 charge 4 pierce 4) on top of the option to use power coating. My only grit with the weapon is the size of it which often then not, blocks your view and makes you miss, I am of course no so much affected by it.

dont forget it has 50% affinity

why didnt they makes bows on mhf1?
