We killed a Jump teo(one of the guys has a converted version of MHP2), Download daora White fatalis. I also helped my friend's son(he shares the psp for now) with a dual plesioth quest. As I was rather late in getting there, we did not hunt alot, but the session's well worth the battery.

nice. Dual plesioth is even more annoying than dual blangonga

Most annoying hunt woul be plesioths,they keep running!

that and there attcks are really hard to dodge

plesioth take ages to get out and then they smash you to pieces

position some one on the beach with a gun or bow

and then someone else at the back with a devil slicer for when it jumps out

why is hammer so much easier to kill a kirin with then other weapons

I don't know. I find it easier with a light bow gun.

i assumed u couldnt poison or put 2 sleep or paralyze becuase u cant use trap tools or sonic and flash bombs

You can paralize, sleep and pioson a kirin.

Sleep + Bombs work fo many monsters, kirins are not really afraid of hammers, it's just that hammers hit hard and in the case of sucha fast moving monsters with little options to keep it in a position to hit, weapons such as the hammer with high raw damage shine... every single hit counts! a note for kirin, it's weak point is really only it's horn so correct application of any weapon would work. I wouldn't really try to paralyse it though, not worth the time it stays put for all the shots save the 1st time, paralyse effect declines when it' either in fury or if you're trying to get it in the second or third time.

E.g 2 shot at 1st to paralyse say... Daora(lvl 2 para) it would take more as the times to paralyse goes on IMO.
