Strange Item at the mountains...

I have noticed that, if I pick on the frozen dragon on top of the mountains (snow map), I can get rusted stones to make the ??? weapons, but also sometimes I get a grey dragon item, that depletes life as you have it on inventory.... what the fuck is it??!!?? Is it worth keeping on inventory? After the mission I don't have it there... is it a special item that gives Z in reward???

Also, can you get some Kushal parts there or is it just my imagination???

the item that deplete life is something you can bring back to send into you red box as a sub quest for certain quests. You can get the khushal scales from mining there.

You can also stand up there next to it and shoot down at wyverns in the zone. I managed to use a bow and cripple Tigrex with constant bow shots to the head from way up there...he stood still and just kept looking around.

You can also mix it with a maka pot to get a special item to make a high level fullfull armor
