Third Thing: It's unlock when you killed Yian Kut-Ku

First take this items with u:

10 herbs , Pitfall trap , 2 nets , 2 trap tool , Flash bombs ( if u have ) .

Your weapon must have a green sharpness for easy kill.

Actually you only needed to bring some paintballs, some sharpening stones and maybe a healing item or two. the key is to learn the creature's movements(in this case kutku's) and attack after it's exposed from attacking you. there's more opportunities of course but only attacking it at it's blind spots will most likely ensure a flawless abeit slow victory. I needed only yellow sharpness on my weapons, even with Khezu.

ok first of all ur all stupid ok if u need to kill him u get 10 potions 10 herbs 10 blue mushrooms and bring 150 armor or higher and bring hammer,great sword,or lance. do not think gunners are cool because they suck

dude one gunnuers arent stupid! my friend is one and he could (excuse my french) kick your ass! second when i posted this i was a noob so i went without armor or healing items!!! i killed him.all u need is a sharp as ( again excuse my french) hell weapon which i had thank u very much!!!
