Monster Hunter Freedom Unite release date

It will be released on 23/06/2009

This game has more then MHP2G. I think. I say this because it has monsters from Monster Hunter Frontier like Hypnocatrice & Lavasioth.

New features/gameplay changes
* New Felyne Fighter system to aid soloing Hunters.
* Eight equipment pages instead of six, and possible extension to 10.
* New Guild Card pages: a) Felyne Fighter Info. b) Frequency of Use of Weapon Types. c) Recording of your recent activity.
* You can now hold up to 99 of each item type in your box.
* You can now store up to 20 equipment sets.
* New sets of Felyne Kitchen Skills ie "Felyne Dance" (boosts stats on every gesture involving "Dance").
* Extra gathering spots for bug catching and ore mining featuring new Ores and Insects.
* Buy your items and send it to the Item Box.
* Directly combine items inside the Item Box.
* New hairstyles.
* New Starter Clothes.
* Able to change clothes via the bookshelf.
* Media Install System that speeds up loading times (beware, may wipe your current save file along with your MHF2 file).
* Skip long opening animation scenes with SELECT. (Lao Shan, Fatalis etc..)
* Trenya can now be sent for 1500 Points
* Trenya can be sent to the Sea Of Trees.

Wiki may be a good source for info, but notice that you, or anyone else can edit it... making it a place where misinformation is likely to occur.

MH united basically is the stateside release of MHP2G, minus the famitsu items, some downloads in the main menu has ben added.. I imagine it's MHtri and MHP on WII teasers.

No offense to anyone, but MH2ndG has all of what Ranos has stated.I think I'm gonna kill the producer.Lavasioth?! Hypnocatrice?! I think Volganos and Hypnoc sounds much better.Oh, and the black Tigrex like thing is called a Naruga Kuruga. Nargacuga is what they renamed it as.D:

I was saying it was new to Freedom, and I notest there was a name differnce. I like the original names tho.

To Ranos: Original names as in Japanese(Volganos etc.) or as in English?(Lavasioth etc.)

By the way, where's pyropower? Haven't seen him in a while now...

I think pyro might be taking a break or just working really hard to beat monsters so idk

The Japanese names are cooler, Volganos sounds a lot cooler then Lavasioth. Lavasioth is a lame name in my opinion.

yea and Ucumbulas is also a sweet name which they will probally change to like white akantor, and i agree with the lavasioth i think volganos is alot cooler

I believe you're refering to the function with PS3. I'm no sure how it works though

If CAPCOM changes it's mind once more and decides to release MHFU for PS3 as well, it'll be just like MH frontier. xD

PS3 is capable of going onto the internet, but you'll need a wireless router.

And someone who knows how to connect to the router without messing up your PS3. xD

I've recently heard a romour about MH3. The reason why it is being made for the Wii is because it will make it easier to make it for the PSP. That's what I've heared any way.

Really? Sweet! I don't mind waiting for a few months for the PSP version to come out. As long as it does come out, I'll be happy.

PS3 was too expensive for capcom to develop onto.. apparently but its the best selling game in japan.. they would buy it for £100 if thats the price capcom put onto it.. meh im pretty happy with the wii version looks great visually, and fun on the wii..

Well, if it stays on the Wii for long, I'll get it. If not and the PSP version comes out, I'll stick to my PSP.

I agree with just the PSP versions are portable

They are only making for the Wii because of the grafics(?). The grafics for the Wii is the same for the PSP. If they made it for the PS3 the detail would be a lot better and they think people would expect the same detail for the PSP version, but the PSP can't have the same level of detail for it's games.

In other words, it's a grafics issue not a money issue since Capcom has already released some games for the PS3, e.g. Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet, MotoGP 08, Resident Evil 5 and many more.

If any of you have been following the drama of tri's move to Wii, Capcom blamed it on development cost which we know is probably only half the truth. Wii became the platform for MH tri because nintendo paid the bigger buck, on top of that, Wii/nintendo had the best console sales in japan during that transition phase. Capcom's a company and companies look at the prospects of making money ONLY.

@Ranos, Wii graphics is way ahead of any portables you can find or buy though admittedly is inferior to PS3.

ZOMG. You would think CAPCOM wasn't a money crazed company, but now we now the truth.

At least there's hope for a PSP version, that's all that matters to me. xD

I don't have a Wii so I wouldn't know.
