King Scarab and Union ore

does anyone know where to get these two lovely beings?

Umm... I get my Union Ore at the volcano HR5 Gathering
HR4 For king Scarab's i get some in the Snowy mountains

Well i think you can get king scarabs with the Tree bug thing but rarely
Union ore u need to wait untill mining point +3

I'm hr4 but I cant beat ashen lao.
Still i'll perservere

For ashen lao i made a Anvil Hammer and hit it's stomach most of the time. When he was comming in i used Large Barrel + and hit his head 3 times to break his horn, and i did it again and just kept on hitting his stomach. When you get to area 6 go down and get a head start on damage and when he roars go back up and use the Drills when he's about to hit. Should work to repel him. Oh and i used Full Rathalos and that gave me Attack(Large)

yeah hammer the stomach is the best way to solo him, face the direction he's going and triple pound keep moving forward to avoid that tail trap.

A powder stone from the volcano gets you 3000 pokke points.

yeah, it's just every monster, even the ioprey piss me off.
Still, when I go back to school I could do that with my friend

I remember there is a HR4 gathering 20 coals quest. Hitting the Basario while it is sleeping underground can give wyvern sob. 2500 point !!

and 100 points per coal

i got 1000's of pkke points from training (like 5000 per monster) try and clear as many as you can

Coal goes for 150 each.

yeah.
I do the daimo training (cos its really easy) and I get 800 or 900 per try.
But it is so boring so i'll do some gathering quests or summint. I want some of those special things (snowball etc)
