Elder Dragon > Guild Quest

I just slayed Teostra.

Does it have a comback quest?
coz he fled after injuring him for 25min.
but I see the quest is Cleared and is on the same location (volcano)

unlike in the village where I fought Kushala, first in the mountain then on the jungle

yup you can fight most all elder dragons they flee at exactly with 25 minutes left and you can fight them 3 times in a row and theyll keep all damage delt befor
theres a volcano teostra quest and a desert quest
deserts called "A Sun with Fangs"
and Volcano is called "Emperor of flames"

so meaning, even if it says Cleared, I have to do it again?
because if I do it again, I see that the location is the same, its still in the Volcano..

meaning this time if I take the quest I can slay him?

if he flees it counts as a clear
if you fight him in a new area or a diffrent named quest that specific quest isnt cleared any previously cleared quests for that monster are still cleared

and alot of elder dragon mission Toestra, Kusha, Kirin, and Chameloes. when ever you do any quest elder or guild, missions you may have done disapear or missions you never may have seen for and elder dragon open up

elder Dragons are just weird =/

sometimes I can see their quest alot of the times not.

for kirin, i slayed him but i haven't seen any quest lately.
I manage to slay Kusha 5 times in a row just to get his claw to make Tactical Blade, worth it nevertheless

yea i need to take out a couple teos so i could get the parts to upgrade my fire dragon sword.

ya it sucks cuz alot of the higher up weapons take elder dragon parts =/

what sword are you making there and where did you begin?

tactical blade has raw power but no element, but monsters and dragons came out tidbits!!! lol

on Mhf 2 i been working from bone katana line to make fire dragon sword and its raw damage isnt as much as tactical blade but it gives off really good dragon damage

my favorite blades the blue wing ^_^ the rathalos wing sword but not to many monsters weak to fire =/

Take note that you only get accounted for a kill when you actually slay the dragon, allowing it to escape after 25 minutes only clears the mission. The rewards are still good though, you can get Teo to give you a horn as reward twice over if you are hunting the same wounded dragon.
