No not really, it's just that after you did the repel quests, Khushal is weakened. Your 1st hunt down quest of the khushal is actually easier because it's the same weakened Khushal you repelled twice over.

it may look harder, but if you're weak, you can kill in many quest. he remains the same until you kill him (he keeps his hp from quest to another). an other fact you could find him tougher is that he may be big than the first you killed.
i keep killing him for getting 10 fang (i have none yet), and sometimes he's really hard to kill... but i haven't fight a big/king size yet...

well I have 1 fang and 1 claw, but I need more so that is why I tried defeat him more.

also, I can repel him from jungle and dessert after kill him for first time?

he flee everywhere you found him after 25min, if you damaged him enough

I'll like to add on the damaging portion, I've been told that the poison knives supplied is capable to dealing enough damage to drive him away. As with the claws, it's really rare and requires you to break it's wings to get 2 as reward.

I thought Kushal is gonna be big like the opening FMV. After i fought him its seems he is more smaller than Diablos.

That doesn't really mean he's not as good as a diblos when it comes to kickign your ass. ...or mine.

Reminds me of the largest Nana I faced so far, it is as big as a Plesioth on a regular scale. It's legs are taller then me. Funny part is that Nana can be quite dangerous when it breaths fire, airborne and all but at that size, I can almost duck under the flames! : Actually I really did crouch under it's airborne flame attack... too bad I didn't take a photo of it.

well my first Kushal was enormous... XP the actual is smaller than a rathalos

Diablos is more harder than Kushal, its true.

you mean the gold crown for smallest Khushal? Yea, mine's a little longer then a velocidrome. My gold crown for biggest Khushal is over 2762cm in size, so big it's crazy. (hope no-one fell for this one)

:Edit, in terms of difficulty, I dont think Diablos measure up to a Khushal, not even the black diablos as it's so easy to trap the diablos either by luring it to ram into walls and getting it stuck there, or actually using pitfalls or stunning it with screamer when it's underground. Many ways to deal with Diablos/Blk Diablos/Monoblos, plus when they drop out of fury mode, move real slow.
For Khushal there's only a handful of items you can use against it, note that traps dont work on Khushal. It flies to make it hard for you to kill it and you can hardly block half of it's attacks(the storm breath is unblockable). Also , there's requirements to breaking it's body parts unlike regular wyverns. It's only obvious weakness is that being of smaller size, it's head which is the most vulnerable is an easy target. Suppose the player doesn't know or didn't have items to use to stun/poison the Khushal it's likely he'll just be running away from the khushal until he figures out to attack it's head to bring down the wind barrier.

#correction on storm breath, I got bord and tried to take a khushal with lance. blocked all it's attacks. Still he's a pain when he flies.

I killed a Diablos and I find him more easy than a Kushal, for example yesterday I was fithing with a kushal who was all the time fliying and using a triple shoots and that tornado attack....

it's use while upgrading online rust stone hamer and lance, and level 5 kushal armor part. so it's use less if you only play offline

Is this Kushal dragon very strong ??
When i reach the mission that says that i must kill him i will try to have the strongest weapon i can get.

It may not be the strongest(to me that is) but certainly the most irritating IMO. He's appearance kinda gets you ready for the other ancient dragons that appear after you have at least killed it once.
