Narugakaruga

This is a confirmed monster of the game. This monster seems to be a rehash of the Tigrex. It has black scales and hair, red marks and feathers, and bright yellow eyes. It has the look and style of a predatory black panther. It's dark aura makes it seem like it only travels and hunts at night. It's been sighted in the jungles at nighttime. This monster is also called "Lightning Dragon Narugakaruga.".

Yama from MH2

Yamatsukami is one of the oldest ancient creatures known to hunters. Despite the fact that its body shape resembles a green octopus with red eyes, it's actually an ancient dragon (part of its name literally means "float dragon", plus those four main 'tentacles' are really clawed legs). Although a tremendous size, it is able to constantly stay up in the air with no support.

They seem to have a symbiotic relationship with Great Thunderbugs, which assist them by attacking their hunters.

Although Yamatsukami first appeared in Monster Hunter 2, it wasn't included in the PSP versions. Also Yamatsukami is the end-game boss in online Monster Hunter 2. Yama returns in Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.

Starting a new game

If you have MHP save data in your Memory Stick, then selecting New Game will send you to a little explaination on what can be brought over.

* Character: Everything but the name of your character can be changed.
* Items: Rare-3 items will be brought over but Rare-4 and above will be converted to money.
* Weapons & Armors: Transform into tickets for weapons creation based on rarity.
* Money: 10% from the total of remaining gold from MHP plus gold from items sold will be carried over.
* Special Reward: A special kit for your little pig and a special ticket from the farm for weapons creation.
* Special Reward 2: Connect the game with Monster Hunter 2 on the PS2, you will receive another special ticket for weapons creation.

After creating your characer, the game will ask if you are a beginner (初心者) or seasoned pro (経験者), picking the former will means several extra tutorials for you in the Training School. There won't be any differences in quest difficulties.

I did not notice you have added so much more detail before, Goo work JG! Damn, I looks like peps playing the english version might be missing out on something... or alot. I guess I'm still ok for this sinc I have my copy of MH dos.. come to think of this, I wonder how Kamui is doing... he sems to be the only other player here that plays MH dos extensively.

seen all this stuff already at wiki but i sure hope its does come to north america as i would buy it first day i could (same as monster hunter freedom 2)

I heard from unconfirmed sources tha this might be avaiable in march.

it doesnt get released in japan till march no ones sure if they will release it elsewere

in spain we can reserve it in some videogame stores for september :\
