lol is a white fatalis harder than "wyverns of land and sky" (gold rathian & silver rathalos in an arena)

LOL, both are quests that are deadly. I find the fatalis on the harder side ATM. I am still unable to solo it in 50mins with every trick in the book I can pull out, the duo wyverns are not as hard to kill though.

well i use both ill use swords most the time
but if it comes to something that i need a really quick kill like a mono or a blos
i use a gun with clust lv2
then make em during the quest
and its a easy kill

I ran out of time in the download quest for MHP2G "white Light", any sharpness under white mostly bounced. I guess I'm rusty on top of not adept in using the Hunting horn. I did fix it's insane Lightning damage by wearing thunder res 20~ G ranked armour, that is however only able to cut the damage to about 75 points~85 points.

When it's in fury mode just about any attack kills in a single blow save stomping, tail whips and it's frontal claw swipes. Makes me wanna just try it with gunner sets as I only worry about it's ranged attacks and dives.

It's pretty daunting in solo, that much I can say since melee players can only take so many hits and ranged players mostly cannot deal enough damage alone so I'm pretty snubbed about the solo notion ATM. Guess I'll just tag my friend along, I can hit hard enough with the lunar recorder and support him well!

what does survival do?

I use full kirin for White Fatalis, it has 40 thunder resitence, gunners stet that is, the swords set is at 30.

Survival prevents you from getting Killed from a single attack when you are above 100 points in HP.

Being a big fan for full sets my initatial setup for white fatalis is either Black belt X sets, Kirin X and Rathian's Golden moon.

The golden moon's no good on the thunder resist section but helps with getting rewards, then remembering how it's skill is named trapper I dropped it as it's got crappy thunder res.

Kirin X is cool after I removed the negative resistance skill but I stayed with black belt for sharpness and balanced over all resistance(so I can jump into the next fight without changing)

LOL for gunners I smiply drop the resistance for skills, many setups I used on my friend's suggestion includes mainly Gravios Vest and coat X, True steadfast guard and boots to get survival, guard inc and recoil reduction +1 after including some jewels, swapping caps between gravios cap X or Black belt cap X depending on my demand on looks! lol

what does the X mean?

the armour I spoke of are rare 10 G ranked armour, my current upgrade gets's them to around 96 def per piece and seriously it hurts bad if i drop too much def in 2~3 G ranked quests.
