i am hr3 trying to get to 4 but he keeps killing me when he is about to die this is for mhf2 and i have tigerx head to waist and conga greaves thes r ugraded

You might wanna run around the rathalos abit and see where it goes when it's dieing.. use bombs on him when he's sleeping to make short work of it if you have gotten it near death.

You are btter equipped then most so I didn't think you need to upgrade anymore just to down the rathalos.

do not use a thunder weapon, it does very little compared to the others, dragon and ice are the best ones to use.

Um, I used the rex LS. But it means that you dont have earplug.
But hey, I may have used devil slicer.
Just make sure you get under him when he lifts off and get out of the way when he charges

I always think i'm noobish compared to you guys.
I am on the 7* guild and have unlocked all of the eldar.
So I spose i'm kinda good, but i've got a very long way to go.

hey if u stil need help this is what i do...

in area nine when u enter from area 8

if u turn to the ident to ur right there are 2 large black marks on the floor
after the second one set a trap
then go kill the cats in the area
wait next to the trap he wl fly into the area right abou your trap after that area *if not weakend* he will fly to area 4 then fly back pass over and head to 10 by now he shuld be weakend after fight him in those areas then he'll head to area 6 dont follow him hell fly to area 5 to heal but becarful when weak hell be raged easy and deals alot of dammage

and thats basicly wut i do to fight him
and the weapon chart Ranos provided is wut u should listen 2

Those are some nice tips.
My tactic is just to run around him, wait for his charge to miss and beat the crap out of his tail.
Then his face, bout as intelligent as my tactics get Smile
